How to Find Out if the Las Vegas House You're Renting or Managing is in Foreclosure, you maybe renting a house or managing a house for somebody and wonder if the house you’re renting or managing is in foreclosure. How do you find out? Here are the steps:
1. Find out what the parcel number is by going to this
website. http://redrock.co.clark.nv.us/
2. Next, click on this link: http://recorder.co.clark.nv.
3. Write down the parcel number without the dashes then on the bottom, click “Detail Data”
4. The first entry that you see on the next page is the most recent document. If you see a Document type that says “Default” –that means that the owner of the house have stop making payments on the house. The owner may or may not bring the payments current so you better be prepared. Write down the Instrument no. and document type and bring it to the county recorder’s office to get a copy of the actual document. The recorder’s office is on the 2 nd floor at 500 So. Grand Central Parkway near Charleston, across from Premium Outlets
