Las Vegas Home Sales Out Pace Foreclosures

Las Vegas homes sales had closing totaling 4,663 in June a 67.4 percent increase from the same month a year ago. Existing Las Vegas home sales exceeded the pace of Las Vegas foreclosures coming on the market for the fourth month in a row.

Las Vegas bank home foreclosures closing in June represented 62 percent of the sales. New hombuilders pulled 368 new Las Vegas home building permits compared to 884 a year ago. The Las Vegas new homes are on pace to sell 3,000 new homes this year.
